M&D Drafting was awarded the New York Mets 45,000 seat baseball stadium in August of 2006. The drafting was completed at the end of August 2007.
A total of 1270 design and connection RFI’s were asked. 2200 galvanized seats were used on the steel to support the precast seats. 102 rolled pieces of steel with associated roll reports and sketches.
116 divisions (sequences).
11235 drawings were issued.
We completed this project in just over one year. M&D Drafting uses both X-Steel (Tekla) and Strucad (Acecad). This project was detailed using both applications and we also furnished CNC files as well as point-to-point bolt lists to our client.
