The hydrogen plant, used to supply hydrogen to the Oil sands for the purposes of refining the crude oil into value added products such as gas and diesel fuel, consists of more than 1500 tons of steel. Engineered by Technip with assistance from Waiward.

The hydrogen plant is a complex structure combining stick and modular steel with complex plate work and rolled steel. By incorporating the ingenuity and experience abundant at M&D, and the versatility of Teklastructures, we were able to model, detail and coordinate the completion of all the necessary drawings for this challenging and intricate structure in an extremely efficient, accurate and professional manner.
