M&D Drafting
CN Rail Bridge

The CN Rail Bridge shown here was detailed in 2009 consisting of 455T of Steel and was detailed on only 122 Drawings. Using Tekla Structures and it’s Sub/Super Assembly ability to it’s full potential, we greatly reduced the number of drawings which needed to be created. By doing so, the detailing, approval, fabrication and erection time lines were greatly reduced. Although we did come across some areas where potential problems could occur, working as a team with our customer/clients on the project we were able to see this job through to completion with great success. The Bridge was recently erected in the Edmonton Alberta area without complication.
