On April 1st through to April 3rd 2009 M&D Drafting attended the NASCC Steel Conference in Phoenix Arizona. There were a total of 220 exhibitors and an estimated attendance of 3200+ industry leaders.
M&D Drafting was very successful in continuing communications with existing clients and starting new relationships for the future. By the number of people who visited our booth we can safely say this trip to the NASCC Conference was a success and a testimony to the M&D Drafting Team.
On Saturday April 4th M&D Drafting representatives Terry Devine (Alberta Chapter) and Brian Pyper (representing the BC Chapter) attended the NISD Board of Directors meeting. Due to the buzz created by the M&D Drafting booth, we were asked to assist the NISD in the completion of their booth at next year’s NASCC conference. Again, a testimony to the M&D Drafting Team.
M&D Drafting will be attending the NASCC Conference next year in Orlando Florida from May-12th to 15th 2010 and we hope to see you there!

2008 is the marking of M&D Drafting’s 20 year anniversary. On September 5th, coworkers, clients, friends and family helped celebrate the success of the business. M&D Drafting hosted a well organized open house, catered by Krave Catering, where we all shared laughs and memories from the past, present, and discussed future events. 30 employees from our office in Surrey BC, flew up for the special occasion, and partook in the special events, as well as numerous employees from our sister company, Waiward Steel Fabricators. Congratulations to David Muir, Terry Devine, Ted Degner, and Don Oborowsky. Here’s to many more years.
